Marcelia Farm

Marcelia Farm stands as a beacon of sustainable agriculture, showcasing innovative practices that harmonize with nature. Through our dedicated efforts, we have successfully preserved 700 trees from decline and planted an additional 305 trees, breathing new life into the landscape. Our mission continues to focus on fostering biodiversity, promoting eco-friendly farming methods, and ensuring a greener, healthier future for generations to come.

Assessment and Planning

We began by thoroughly understanding the land. Through soil testing, water quality analysis, and climatic studies, we identified the best plants and layout for Marcelia Farm. We selected drought-resistant olive and palm trees, along with other resilient crops, ensuring they could thrive in Siwa’s harsh conditions. This phase laid the foundation for a sustainable and well-planned project.

Land Preparation

Next, we prepared the land to support healthy growth. We improved soil fertility with organic fertilizers and installed a modern drip irrigation system to optimize water use. This phase ensured that the land was ready to welcome both existing and new trees.

Planting and Establishment

With the land ready, we revived 700 trees, ensuring they regained their strength and adapted well to the environment. We also planted more than 305 new trees, bringing the total to around 1,005. Immediate watering and mulching helped the plants establish strong roots and thrive.

Maintenance and Growth

After planting, we focused on long-term care. We regularly monitored the irrigation system, adjusted watering schedules, and applied organic fertilizers to maintain soil health. Pruning and pest control were also part of the routine to ensure the trees remained healthy and productive. This phase ensured that Marcelia Farm continued to grow and flourish.
